She sent an Email to me that said this- This letter constitutes a formal legal demand that you immediately remove the online review you recently posted regarding our firm's representation of you. Your review contains the following materially false statements of fact: 1. That we are "not profes...sional" and "do not do our job" — Our firm diligently prepared and submitted all required filings on your behalf. Both your Form I-130 and Form I-485 were ultimately approved. The I-130 was approved notwithstanding a Request for Evidence issued by USCIS on the I-485 — which itself requested documentation that USCIS had already accepted as sufficient to approve the I-130. This demonstrates an inconsistency in USCIS case processing, not any deficiency in our work. 2. That we "only take money" and do not perform services — Our firm provided extensive professional services throughout the duration of your case, as the complete case file, correspondence, and USCIS approval notices on record clearly demonstrate. 3. That a new attorney was required to "correct mistakes" — No mistakes were made. Both applications were approved. Our representation ended at our election, and any subsequent legal fees you have incurred are not the result of errors on our part. These statements are false, published to the public, and directly harmful to our professional reputation and business. The publication of false statements of fact that damage a professional's reputation and business constitutes actionable defamation per se. We also note that during the course of our representation, our staff was subjected to verbal abuse and derogatory treatment by you, conduct which we chose not to address formally at that time. We are no longer extending that courtesy. You are hereby demanded to: 1. Remove the above-referenced review in its entirety within three (3) calendar days of the date of this email; and 2. Refrain from publishing any further false statements about our firm or its personnel. If you fail to comply within the time stated, we will have no alternative but to pursue all available legal remedies, including a civil action for defamation, which may entitle us to actual damages, reputational damages, and attorneys' fees and costs.
