Jennifer P. Killen, a Florida native, grew up in South Florida. She moved to Gainesville to attend college and received her B.S. in Telecommunication Operations, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1999. She received her J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2002, with honors, and served as the Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Ms. Killen has been Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation since 2017 and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest level of professional excellence awarded. She is a skilled litigator who has tried cases throughout the State of Florida. Ms. Killen also has extensive experience speaking at conferences and seminars on a wide range of workers’ compensation topics. She is an accredited certified instructor and lecturer for continuing education courses.
Prior to joining Farah & Farah, Ms. Killen established the workers' compensation department at a local personal injury firm and primarily represented injured workers. Prior to that, she represented Employers and Carriers throughout the State for several years. In addition to successfully handling complex workers’ compensation matters through appeal, she has also handled liability, construction law and PIP cases, making her a well-rounded litigator and advocate for her clients regardless of the industry in which they are involved.
In her free time, Ms. Killen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, wine tasting, pilates and riding her Harley.
