Matthew Gregor Petra

Matthew G. Petra is part of his firm’s commercial practice group. He is board certified as an expert in real estate law by the Florida Bar. Matthew practices in his firm’s real estate section, handling all aspects of a variety of real estate matters (e.g. acquisition, development, management, and disposition, etc.), including matters related to community associations. Matthew’s practice also focuses on commercial lending; he primarily focuses on real estate based financing, but he also represents lenders with respect to asset-based lending and alternative financing arrangements. Furthermore, he represents tenants and landlords with respect to commercial leases.

Prior to joining his current firm, Matthew’s practice focused on community associations, representing developers of community associations, as well as post-turnover, community associations. He was also heavily engaged in civil litigation, both state and Federal, having litigated cases throughout the state of Florida. His background in litigation also included alternative dispute resolution.
