Margo Elizabeth Murphy

Margo E. Murphy is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Insurance Coverage and Construction practice groups. Ms. Murphy’s practice is focused on prosecuting insurance coverage and construction defect matters for policy holders and owners. Prior to joining Ball Janik, she concentrated her practice on representing national insurers in coverage disputes and bad faith defense.

Ms. Murphy’s background representing insurance companies gives her key insight in the representation of owners in construction defect claims and policy holders in insurance coverage disputes. Her background in the insurance industry affords her the unique perspective and understanding of how insurance companies evaluate claims, resulting in maximizing available insurance coverage for Ball Janik LLP’s clients.

Prior to joining Ball Janik’s Orlando office, Ms. Murphy was active in Philadelphia VIP, a pro-bono organization, as well as the Homeless Advocacy Project. She is a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property and Probate & Trust sections, as well as a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
