Biography
Lauren knows the importance of giving every citizen access to the court. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from UF, she went to law school at FSU. She moved to Orlando after law school to work for the Ninth Judicial Circuit's Public Defender's Office. She fought zealously for six years. By the end of her tenure, she was handling drug trafficking, sexual assault, child pornography and burglary cases.
In December 2016, she tried a civil theft case with her father in Duval County. After prevailing, she was determined to join his practice and expand her skills as a trial attorney.
Before leaving the PD's Office, she applied for the Board Certification examination in the area of Criminal Trial Law. The application requires at least twenty-five trials, a written examination and peer review. In Fall 2017, she received her Board Certification in Criminal Trial Law, making her an expert in the field.
