Jason William Hill

Jason W. Hill is a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Construction Litigation Practice Group in Orlando, Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law, and has been practicing law for more than ten years.

Mr. Hill represents general contractors, subcontractors, and material and equipment suppliers in all phases of public and private construction contracting and dispute resolution, including: licensing and other regulatory-compliance; bid protests; contract drafting and negotiation; claims notice and preservation; and litigation and arbitration involving claims of defective design and construction, delay and interference, lien and bond claims, and insurance coverage disputes.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hill worked in government relations in Washington D.C. While at William & Mary Law School, he participated in the school’s National Trial Team, served on its Bill of Rights Journal, and earned a highest grade award in Civil Procedure.

• three-week arbitration of prime contractor’s completion cost claims against defaulting subcontractor on hospital project.
