Biography
David A. Yergey III (also known as "D3") was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida. He attended Lake Highland Preparatory School for 13 years before attending the University of Florida. David is a double Gator with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and Information Systems. While attending the University of Florida, David was a member of Florida Blue Key, University of Florida’s Most Prestigious Honor Society, and served on Gator Growl for two years as the Director of Art and Layout.
After graduating from UF, David followed in his family’s footsteps and attended law school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
After passing the Bar, David joined his father, David Yergey Jr., at Yergey & Yergey P.A., to become a fourth generation attorney. While working as an attorney, David began pursuing an LL.M in Taxation through the University of Alabama on line night school program. After 2 long years, he graduated with a Masters in Taxation.
Using all 4 of his degrees, David brings a new energy to the firm and great deal of technological knowledge as the firm moves towards a paperless future.
David is an avid Gator fan and enjoys spending time doing water sports including fishing, diving, water skiing, and wakeboarding.
David is licensed to practice law in Florida and Alabama.
