I am a life-long native Floridian.  I understand the pain and tragedy contested cases can cause to the clients I've represented in my 20 year career.  I also know because I've been through it myself.  The financial, spiritual and physical toll is a shattering experience.  My own divorce was easily the toughest two years of my life. 

My personal experience and two decades as a trial attorney has fine-tuned my understanding of your case and representing your rights and interests in family restructure.  Although I handle contested family law cases that are litigated in court, I whole-heartedly embrace the human conflict resolution methods of Collaborative Divorce and Family Mediation.  To represent you fully and effectively, I am able to offer different styles of representation.  Most folks want a non-adversarial divorce, but if your spouse won't allow that and the case unravels, I will fight for your rights to your children and your vested financial interests.

On the personal side, I love to cook creole cuisine with my family and friends, spend time with my adorable Boston terrier Boudreaux, watch indie movies and take boxing classes.  I am also a member of the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida, Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Winter Park Rotary Club, Friends of the Winter Park Public Library, the Orlando Chamber of Commerce and St. Richard's Episcopal Church of Winter Park.
