This site does not not allow one to leave 0 stars which is where I place his value. Scott was my attorney for an HOA matter. He then went and worked for my HOA - the same HOA I had hired him to defend me against - replete with his insider knowledge that I had shared with him. After he had worke...d for me, Scott even attended a pre-trial mediation with the opposing party - my HOA - that I had initiated against my HOA. How many of you want an attorney who does this? Evidently, the Florida Bar says attorneys can do this if they separate what opposing clients had told them, as though this is reaosnably and humanly possible, and is determiental to the first client. Scott is the only attorney I have spoken with who would do this with those other attorneys citing "conflict of interest" and multiple other reasons for an attorney not being willing to work for a former client's opposing party. In fact, multiple attorneys told me they won't even take HOA cases in the same HOA if they had merely drafted a deed for a different HOA member, let alone for potential HOA litigation. Scott also ghosts clients. He takes on more than he can handle and then he juggles competing deadlines of which mine seemed to be at the bottom much of the time because they were not legal deadlines or court dates, and this is the reason I fired him and then had to start over with a new attorney which is costly and stressful. Subsequently, my HOA fired him for the same reason.
