R. Scott Simmons

Simmons Mediation, LLC is led by attorney, Scott Simmons, who is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator.  Mr. Simmons has been practicing law in Central Florida since 2000.  During this time span, he has represented numerous clients involved in personal injury and property damage cases.  He has extensive courtroom, trial, and conflict resolution experience.  This includes approximately 40 jury trials and more than 500 mediations during his career.

Mr. Simmons received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1997.  Thereafter, he obtained his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000.  Most of his legal career was spent defending individuals and insurance companies in the areas of motor vehicle law, premises liability, and property damage cases.  He spent a few years representing Plaintiff’s in personal injury cases as well.  Today, Mr. Simmons devotes his entire practice to mediating these types of cases.

Mr. Simmons and his lovely wife, Jessica, have three wonderful children, Braxton, Teagan, and Kaelyn.
