Biography
As the Chief Prosecutor in Lake County, Florida, Gregory Smith tried complex felony cases. He saw first-hand the limitations of the criminal justice system in compensating victims.
A graduate of Stetson University College of Law in 1987, Greg once worked at a prominent defense firm where he gained valuable insight into the handling of civil negligence cases by insurance companies. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Greg’s recent accomplishments in several significant cases include obtaining a substantial recovery for a delivery driver who became a victim of a violent crime.
