The only reason I'm posting this anonymously is because of the nature of our case. A couple of years ago our family was attacked legally in a way no family should ever have to endure. Upon a reference from a friend, we hired Attorney Roman-Secor. I will be grateful forever for our great fortune in finding her. The issue we were facing was one with which she had little experience, and there were honestly times we wondered whether we should seek out an attorney with more experience in that area of law. The thing is that Gina was never afraid to say, "I don't know, but I'll find out." She was never too proud or timid to reach out to any of her AMAZING contacts and colleagues. As it turns out, our situation was so unusual that no one attorney knew how to deal with it. Neither did the judges, apparently! She called in the troops from all over Central Florida, including the attorney who wrote the statute dealing specifically with our situation, and she didn't ever stop working on our behalf. There were times we tried to get in touch with her to find out how a filing deadline was going, and we'd be frustrated and scared. She would contact us an hour before the deadline with her brief for us to review. She was difficult to contact because she was working on our case.
