Two years ago we were bles...sed to be introduced to Weston Vaughn Ehrman at the Cohen Law Group and their staff and it changed our lives, quite literally forever. Hurricanes are not good for anyone. In our case, having to drain our savings to repair our home with no help from insurance or any other agency would have been devastating. We had lost hope, time, and dragged through two hurricane seasons with damage. Walking away beaten, broke, and bewildered by so many parties was on the table and about to happen. We had nowhere to go except down. Then we hired Weston. Without his and his staff’s dedication, in particular Monica, we would be lost and desolate. With the care of a tailor and seamstress, stitching together endlessly long cloths of Information, they organized years of incorrect and missing information. Every detail, discussion, and deficiency through countless (though probably numbering in the thousands) of emails was organized and presented in a clear and quantified argument which led to a very positive outcome. Each painstaking and overwhelming step to us was presented and handled by them with the ease and efficiency of a river flowing downstream. Not only did they remain in contact with every question and quiet every fear, they educated us and never gave up. Their guidance is outstanding. There may be no promises, but there most certainly is preparedness – and THAT makes all the difference in the world. Our settlement outcome was beyond our expectations. Life is beginning again. If you must go to war, you win by having someone by your side who has proven tactical skills. Weston and his staff are the warriors we all need in this new world.

Weston did a really wonderful job for my family in his pursuit of my insurance company, who refused to pay for a roof that was damaged in a hurricane two years ago. He was phenomenal. He deftly steered us to the appraisal process. He was great about giving updates and did a phenomenal job assi...sting me in appraiser selection. Through the process, we received five times the highest settlement offer made by my insurance company. I highly recommend him. It is very clear from the get go that he is very skilled and professional. He knows his stuff and got better than the desired result. He is also a genuinely nice guy. Some lawyers can be grating, but not him. I can't imagine having a better experience or a more skilled advocate throughout the process.

I engaged Mr. Weston Ehrman when my home insurance denied my water damage claim. I was nervous to engage an attorney mostly because I was unsure of the process, cost, hassle, amount of time, etc. Weston was not only extremely responsive and knowledgeable on the subject, but he really allowed me to tr...ust his approach during our initial meeting. Note: I had not hired him in that initial meeting however, during that discussion he was very clear on every detail of the process should I move forward with hiring him. I I did indeed hire him and I was honestly shocked when all went exactly as he said. 1) It did not cost me a thing to have him represent my case to the insurance company 2) He kept me updated in the process, he laid out the best and worst case scenarios, he did not over-promise on result 3) He certainly did not have to hassle me for constant information. (complete opposite of the insurance company). I actually work in the insurance business and in my role I am usually the one fighting the insurance company for a reasonable resolution, but I could not handle this without Weston. I wish I engaged him sooner, I spent 6 months of back and forth with the Insurance Company and Weston had my case closed (with a very favorable result) in 1 month. I would highly recommend Weston Ehrman and his firm and very glad that I can move forward getting my home repaired, because a couple of months ago I definitely thought I was going to have to take out another loan to complete my repairs.
