R Paul Roecker

I have been in business for 39 years and have hired 8-10 attorneys during that time, Paul Roecker is without exception the most incompetent attorney I have ever hired. I hired Roecker to obtain a Prescriptive Easement to my property. When I met with him he told me it was a simple action since the roa...d we were being denied access to had been used for 50 years. I paid him $5000 and we signed a contract. Trouble began immediately as I paid him in May of 2013 and in August we still had not filed the law suit. E-mail after e-mail was sent to him asking what was going on. This went on for TWO AND A HALF YEARS. He would not say much at any hearing and we lost every time we went to court. I am now being forced to build a driveway in a swamp because of his incompetence. When I told him what a bad job he was doing and threatened to sue him he filed a Motion to Withdraw. This guy took my $5000, DIDN’T DO ANYTHING other than botch this case and withdraws leaving me to build a road in a swamp when I was supposed to get my original road back. It is amazing how easy it is to find yourself screwed, with no viable options, and an attorney who simply walks away with your money. I have learned a valuable lesson and have met with an attorney who is going to try to fix this, sue Paul Roecker, sue the Tate Law Firm (where I originally hired him) and try to get some justice after what this guy has done.
