Kenneth Malcolm Clayton II

Ken Clayton was born and raised in Orlando, Florida.  He has practiced law in Orlando, Florida, primarily in the areas of Real Property, Corporate and Civil law with emphasis in the area of condominium and planned unit development law.  His client representation in this area has included numerous developers, title insurance companies, lenders, purchasers, individual homeowners and numerous community associations.  Ken is involved in creating and developing community properties; reviewing, examining and assisting clients in connection with the purchase, sale and financing of existing and proposed projects; handling sales, negotiations and closings on units.  He has also represented various types of community associations and individual owners regarding a variety of matters before, during and after turnover of control of associations to the homeowners.  Ken has represented both developers and associations during the transition process.  He has further been involved in the representation of a significant number of community associations in their ongoing legal matters, including drafting, interpreting and enforcing the condominium, PUD and subdivision covenants and restrictions.  He has also represented both developers, associations and unit owners in matters regarding the litigation and negotiation of various construction contract matters and land use.  Eminent domain, particularly the unique area dealing with the taking of association properties, is an important part of his practice.
