Justin P. Schafer graduated from Villanova University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications. Mr. Schafer earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Barry University Andreas School of Law in 2008, where he was an elected S.B.A. Senator for two consecutive years and received The S.B.A. Graduate of the Year Award.
Mr. Schafer currently serves as a Board Member of the Seminole County Young Lawyers Division where he runs a sponsorship event for the VITA program volunteers at Barry University Andreas School of Law each year during tax season. Mr. Schafer is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
Mr. Schafer has participated in assisting people in need through his volunteer work at the Orange County Legal Aid Society along with his time spent as a Guardian Ad Litem in Orange County. His volunteer work includes such programs as the Orange County Legal Aid Society Intake Program and the Haitian TPS project, which assisted Haitian nationals in seeking relief to prevent deportation to Haiti following the 2010 earthquake. Mr. Schafer was selected by the Board of Trustees of the Legal Aid Society to receive the 2011 Pro Bono Project Award of Excellence for his work in the Community Education Project.
Mr. Schafer is admitted to practice in the State of Florida as well as the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
