Mr. Nordman left college for business opportunities and after ten years experience in the business world, he returned to complete his B.B. A. in Accounting at Stetson University.  He graduated with honors from University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida completing his law degree.  While at law school, he also attended the Fisher School of Accounting at The University of Florida to meet the requirements to sit for the Certified Public Accountant examination.  Mr. Nordman is a Board Certified Specialist in Real Estate Law by the Florida Bar and is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.  His real world experience and academic achievement have prepared him to handle complex transactional, litigation, tax and estate planning matters. 

Mr. Nordman is a third generation and lifetime Volusia County resident, except for a brief stint in The Swamp to obtain his law degree. He is married to his high school sweetheart and lives in DeLand with their four children.  The oldest three children attend University of Florida in Gainesville where the youngest hopes to attend also.

Mr. Nordman’s community service includes several years on the Board of West Volusia Habitat for Humanity and as the Vice President from 2008-2009.  Since 2013, he has served on the Board of the DeLand Century Club, which benefits the DeLand High School Football program.

Personal interests include: Florida Gators Football, DeLand High School Football, agricultural and outdoor activities, including saltwater and freshwater fishing.
