Robert B. Griffis

Robert represents employers and carriers in all types of workers’ compensation matters. These include “wrap up” owner-controlled/contractor-controlled insurance policies, collective bargaining workers’ compensation cases under Florida Statutes § , and statutory employer cases. Robert is an instructor and provides educational seminars on all facets of workers’ compensation matters. In addition to representation at the trial level, Robert also successfully defends appeals for employers and carriers before the First District Court of Appeals for workers’ compensation matters. In addition to Florida workers’ compensation, Robert has over 20 years of experience representing employers, carriers, and third-party administrators in claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation representation includes difficult multi-jurisdictional questions in both offshore and inland locations. Robert has represented employers/carriers before the Benefits Review Board and is a member of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
