I had an existing order for attorney fees & alimony that I wasn't receiving. I wanted to file an order of contempt for non-payment. I paid a small consulting fee for a phone interview to see if they would be able to handle my case. They assured me in that phone consultation that they handled fa...mily law & could help me. I was very thorough with my questions & concerns because I had a very bad experience with a different attorney during my divorce. I was assured repeatedly that they could take care of this & I gave them a $2500.00 retainer. After several weeks when nothing was being done & I was informed the attorney in their office that was assigned to my case was no longer there & I would have to give them another $10000.00 in retainer fees to get the Contempt of Court started. I explained I didn't have $10000.00. I was told they wouldn't be able to help me & they refused to return any of my initial $2500. retainer. No work was ever started on my case. I would never recommend them.
