Michael David Fender

Mr Fender was hired to perform legal services, counsel and guidance in helping resolve divorce issues over an extended period of time. I had looked to him to help minimize the impact of many poor decisions made due to lack of knowledge and earlier counsel. Over time, Mr. Fender became detached, unres...ponsive, unprofessional and as a result, made the situation much worse because it did not get addressed in a timely manner. Instead, am still dealing with issues after years of "trying to do the right thing". No idea what has happened to him as his email addressed are no longer valid and he stopped responding to all attempts to communicate. Would not recommend hiring Mr. Fender in ANY capacity.

He made no effort on my case at all. No paperwork filed. He does not return email or phone calls. He was late for court. He didn't pass on to me requests that were made by opposing counsel (for which I was fined). I gave him many pages of documents relating to my case that he never looked at bef...ore going to court. He asked me in court what he should ask. No statements or billing records provided.

Beware of Mr.Fender. He put forth no effort on my divorce and charged me for a trial that never happened. He did not submit closing paperwork twice which ended up costing me an extra $1000 in compensation to my ex-wife. He does not provide any receipts or statements of work. He does not return emails... or phone calls.

Mr. Fender is a great attorney. With all the legal changes in same sex marriage, he took my divorce case. It had been rejected out of state where the marriage took place. He worked diligently with me and finalized the divorce in Florida. He has been an angel to me. He was reasonable and worked with m...e on a payment plan. I would never hesitate to recommend him or contact him for any legal issues. From all attorneys I ever dealt with his far the best. He made what seemed impossible happen. I'm very thankful and appreciate all the work he has done for me. He changed my life and the outlook of my future. He is genuinely interested in the human aspect and does not focus on just the business side of a legal practice.

Mr. Fender was my third attorney in a divorce case. The prior attorneys charged me and charge me without any progress. Mr. Fender took my case and worked through the process with me. He's very calm and collective. When he speaks in court he is very calm and he is brilliant. He made his points clearly... to the judge in the most calm way possibly. He kept me calm and advised me very well through the process. Did I say he is brilliant? He has low overhead and is works with his clients very well. His assistant is very nice.
