I got into a car accident in April and unfortunately I had no car insurance. I was very upset because the accident was not my fault but the officers on the scene gave me two situation one for no proof of insurane and one for careless driving and 4 points on my license. After getting the "run around" from my Insurance Company, for a period of 4-months after I had submitted my legitimate claim, for damage sustained to my property after hurricane IRMA, I contacted Metts Legal, who came highly recommended to me. I had an issue with the military trying to charge me $15,000 for a bonus I never received from them. If you don't know what dealing with DFAS is like, it's a pain. You have to use an online system which takes them up to 90 days (yes...3 months) to reply to your message. Even then, the replies are ...extremely short, vague, and most of the time containing information only they can decipher (codes to things you can't even look up). I did everything I could. I sent them everything they needed. After hours and hours, days and days, and MONTHS of dealing with these very rude people who really didn't care about me or the fact that I'd served for 7 years. On top of that, they didn't care that they were wrong, they were relentless in trying to get this money that wasn't even close to in their right to demand. I decided I needed help. I somehow found Derek Metts's office and spoke to a very nice receptionist who put me through to speak with Derek. Derek explained to me that he doesn't typically deal with this type of situation, but that he'd do it anyway. He also was honest and informed me that I'd already done everything there was to be done. That I'd already sent all the proof that was necessary and that all he would do is compiled everything and send it in one document with his name attached. Unfortunately for us regular people, that's what is needed sometimes. Upon receipt of his letter, DFAS responded *promptly* which was astounding already, but also letting me know that they were wrong and have corrected the issue. Paying for a simple letter sounds ridiculous, but in the world of culprits and exploiters, having a lawyer's back up can help resolve the situation much more quickly than alone. Best of all, it took away all the stress and torture of sitting on the phone for hours on hold and sending messages that would take up to 3 months to get replies that were basically nonsense. Definitely recommend.

Most importantly he got me back 100% of the money I spent fixing my customer's $120,000 Porsche Panamera GTS. It was thousands of dollars I paid out of pocke...t to fix this vehicle that a Subway customer hit. None of my insurance companies that I have would touch the case to go after the driver and the insurance of the person at fault.
