Rick Fabiani brings over ten years of experience practicing law in helping his clients. His first focus is always on understanding the client’s goals and helping find the most effective way to reach those goals, whether representing individuals or corporate clients. Rick helps clients with real estate and business transactions, including closing and title services, and litigation in a wide range of civil matters. He has developed a reputation of being able to solve problems in difficult situations. From creative professionals to musicians to programmers to engineers and others, Rick has helped negotiate and litigate contracts for hundreds of contractors, professionals, and companies. Rick has an ability to understand the unique needs of clients in constantly changing and emerging fields.
Rick grew up in Gainesville, but graduated high school from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, in Jacksonville, where he was first chair Double Bass in the orchestra. He graduated from the Honors program at Santa Fe College and earned his B.A. from the University of Florida with a double major in anthropology and philosophy. He graduated from the Tulane University School of Law in 2008 where he was on the Board for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, as well as being elected to represent the law school in student government and serving on the honor board. He also practiced as a student attorney at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic.
Rick is admitted was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008 and is currently admitted to federal practice in the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a past member of the Eighth Judicial Bar Association Board.
Rick is still a musician and is also a competitive fencer. He also was a recent co-producer of the Tom Petty Birthday Bash music festival in Gainesville, celebrating the life and music of Tom Petty.
