I have been in private practice since 1968. The last 15 years, or so, of my practice have been primarily devoted to wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, estate administration, small business entity organization (corporations, partnerships and LLCs) and pre or post nuptial agreements. During earlier years of my practice, I have had extensive experience in civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, divorce, bankruptcy, foreclosure, banking, mortgage lending, and other legal areas. In today's complex legal atmosphere, I, nor any other lawyer, can truly be competent in practicing in multiple areas of the law. I sincerely believe my extensive previous experience gives me insight into issues which may effect my client's estate plan, to include appropriate transfers of assets; protection from creditors (both client and beneficiaries); avoidance of probate, litigation or guardianship, and other collateral issues. It is my objective to speak with and learn all of the facts concerning my client's particular circumstances, desires, and needs. Only then can I create the proper documents for each client. I see a lot of "cookie-cutter," "one size fits all" documents. I strive to assure that documents I prepare fit personally with each unique client.
