Mr. Brooks is terrible. He was full of empty promises and lies. He filed documents on my behalf knowing they misrepresented my needs. Mr. Brooks colluded with opposing counsel and allowed me to be taken advantage of and firing him was the best thing I did. If you are a woman or need someone on you...r side do NOT hire Mr. Brooks. He also refuses to answer phone calls and gave a retaliatory bill after I fired him and refused mediation. Mr. Brooks was unprofessional and rude beyond words.

This was my first time hiring an attorney for anything and I am so EXREMELY DISSAPOINTED. He is absolutely horrible. He didnt research the case, there was never any contact after many phone calls and most importantly he sat on his high horse in the court room 3 times and didnt even approach me or pr...epare me for my hearing. You might ask: "Well, why didnt you approach him and ask him what was going on?" Well, that's kind of hard to do, when you are shackled and can't even look at anyone! I had never been arrested or charged with anything before and was devasted. And why did we go to court 3 times and let me sit in jail for 3 months. Because each time he asked for a continuance because he was not prepared! DO NOT HIRE HIM!!
