Timothy Martin Knopes

Marty is a long time friend and came to my aid when I was charged with DUI. Because it was a second refusal, I had to spend the night in jail to see the judge the next morning. Marty took my wife's call on Saturday night and tried to get me released but could not because it was a second refusal. H...e was there on Sunday morning and got me released on a signature bond. We met with him and he told us of the flat rate charge for defending me. He was there for every court appearance, teleconference with DSMV, deposition. Even though the judge ruled against us on all of our objections and allow the CPD to validate my rights and lie on the stand and also allow the SAO to file an addition charge against me five months after the alleged offense, he was still able to get a reasonable pea deal. Mr. Knopes was "awsome". He has handled several legal issues for me over the past 10 years. He has always been upfront with me on all issues. He works hard at finding the truth. He is honest and trustworthy and I can call him anytime, day or night, if I have a problem, concern or question regardi...ng any matter. He has always worked hard at keeping me informed. Most of all, though, anytime I had to go to court he was by my side and well prepared for anything the other side would throw at us. He was unique in his approach to the issues.
