I retained John Beroset for my case which had received significant media attention. John communicated well throughout and provided opinions on various matters based on his experience which all played out very favorably. He recommended against a plea deal for my case as he did not feel I had committed... a crime based on the evidence the government had presented and he was very willing to fight the matter at trial. Great attention was given to jury selection due to the media attention but the very good questioning left us with what I believe was a fair jury. At trial John destroyed and exposed the governments witnesses under cross examination which included a less than truthful police officer. Based on the great cross examination and research John had conducted prior to the trial John asked the judge to throw the case out in the middle of the jury trial which the judge granted.
