I'm a business immigration attorney with two main practice areas, and an unusual background that informs both. At Elevate Justice U.S. Immigration Law, I represent U.S. employers on I-9 compliance and worksite enforcement readiness, and I take immigration cases to federal court when agencies break the law or take too long on your case.

Before founding Elevate Justice, I spent nearly five years as a federal government attorney, first at ICE's Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, where I handled district court litigation involving national security, civil rights, civil detention, and constitutional claims; then at the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of the Solicitor, where I litigated appellate H-2B integrity audits and APA claims before administrative tribunals and federal courts. I also advised on the national development and implementation of H-2A and H-2B regulations. Before that, I represented employers in private practice through ICE Form I-9 investigations and worksite enforcement proceedings.

I have been on both sides. I know how federal agencies build their positions, what they look for during a worksite inspection, and where employers' programs tend to break down. That perspective is the foundation of everything I do for clients now.
