This attorney did not communicate well during his legal representation of my son. He scared us into taking a plea, that essentially ruined my son's goal of going into the Navy. The information and guidence he provided was incorrect, and only after hiring another attorney did I find out how terrible n...egligent Mr. Polk was in handling the legal matter. I also found out he was disciplined by the Florida State Bar for similar behavior. We put our trust in him, in a very important and difficult time...only to be given wrong information and terrible representation. The outcome of a minor legal matter has forever negatively impacted my son's life.

I hired this lawyer to represent me. Charged me a couple thousand dollars for a retainer up front. When I tried to get a contract signed he put it off. After several months I decided to use another lawyer but keep him on as an adviser. He stopped returning my calls, did not do what I requested, a...nd provided no sound legal opinions or advice. I could go after him legally, but it isn't worth the effort. Don't trust this lawyer.
