Karl entered law school at the Cumberland School of Law in 1991 where he focused on litigation in both the jury trial and appellate law programs. In 1993, Karl won the Judge James O. Haley Federal Court Competition and was offered a membership on the Trial Advocacy Board. Later that year, Karl was offered a membership on the Moot Court Board and was selected as one of only three litigators to participate on the Moot Court Team. The following year, Karl took his team to the Final Rounds of the National Moot Court Championship after winning the regional championship. Due to his accomplishments in the litigation programs at Cumberland, Karl was one of a select few students who was allowed to begin practicing law before graduating law school. He began representing indigent criminal defendants while finishing his degree. Karl Graduated in 1994 and received a Juris Doctor degree. He passed the Florida Bar Examination after graduation. The following year, he passed the Alabama Bar Examination and became eligible to practice law in both states. In 1995, Karl began practicing law in Florida where he represented the injured and the disabled. He also represented the criminally accused and fought to protect their rights. Karl opened his own firm in 1997 where he still works – providing exceptional legal representation to his clients.

Disability claim
He worked very hard to prove my disability. It took 2 years for all the tests and doctors appointments, but he did it. They made me feel very welcome at their office, like they really cared about me. They truly changed my life. I have already referred they to others twice. Thank you.
