Steven Douglas Meadows

A native resident of the Florida Panhandle;  I began my career in public service with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division.   After graduating from Gulf Coast Community College with a degree in Law Enforcement Standards, I began working with the Bay County Sheriff's office.  In 1986, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Florida State University, and my Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University School of Law in 1988.  I have spent over 20 years as a prosecuting attorney, trying more than 6,000 cases. In November 2004, I was elected as your State Attorney for the 14th Judicial Circuit for Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington Counties.  After a distinguished career in public service, I became a founding partner in the firm Meadows & Kelley, P.A., practicing in the areas of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury
