A native of Tallahassee, Danielle Joyner Kelley grew up watching federal trials at the United States District Court where her mother served as a Judicial Assistant to Federal Judge William Stafford for over twenty years.
Her love of the law and judicial process continued through her adulthood where she interned at the Florida House of Representatives under Marjorie Turnbull and at the Florida State Attorney General’s Office. She obtained a dual bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Political Science and Communication Studies, Magna Cum Laude. After that, she went on to graduate from Florida State University’s College of Law, Cum Laude.
In her career as a lawyer Mrs. Joyner Kelley worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit where she gained valuable trial experience. Later, she practiced civil law including Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practice litigation, Employment Discrimination, Section 1983 claims, Personal Injury, Business Law, Family Law and Property Law. She has represented clients in a range of legal matters including high profile media cases involving wrongful death claims, drafting covenants and restrictions for homeowners associations, and serving as general counsel to various local businesses. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at Tallahassee Community College, where she graduated from prior to attending Florida State University.
Now, Mrs. Joyner Kelley focuses her practice in the areas of Foreclosure Defense, Short Sale Negotiations, and Loan Modifications for homeowners affected by the current real estate market, hoping to give them a voice in a very complex process.
She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Federal District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
