One Man's Experience with William H. Crawford, Esq. and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Proceedings

I want to extend my deepest thanks for all services provided on my behalf by William “Billy” Crawford, Attorney at Law. My case consisted of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy that was tied to a complex array of circumstances that culminated in severely overextending my capacity to meet my financial obligati...ons. The origins of which beginning as early as 2005 and escalating out of control subsequent to the 2008 real estate crash in which I became irretrievably over-burdended by several mortgages/real estate investments that plummeted in value. Although left demoralized by an initial ill-fated attempt to personally negotiate a loan modification with one of the key lending institutions involved in my case, upon my initial consultation with Mr. Crawford, he quickly grasped my plight and set the wheels in motion with recommendations that conveyed a cogent plan of action. Much needed and appreciated at the time! Throughout the ensuing months, despite often left confused/frustrated/bemused, etc. by the legal and financial processes involved in a complicated Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Mr. Crawford remained unerringly "cool in the clutch" and provided spot-on legal advice as the momentum shifted to and fro, not to mention lending an unflappable, leveling influence at the darkest and most emotionally trying moments. Invariably, Mr. Crawford's explanations of complicated matters were clear and concise, he was never flippant, and he always conducted himself in a professional and business-like manner. I also deeply appreciated the fact that Mr. Crawford was quick to reply via email (if not by phone), and always made himself available with reasonable notice. His staff person was also easy to work with in terms of scheduling and in execution of her assigned clerical duties. It's also important to note that Mr. Crawford provided one-to-one counsel and never sent an associate or paralegal to perform his duties, despite working in opposition to a team of attorneys, backed by the considerable resources afforded by virtue of representing at least two corporate financial institutions who made efforts to contest my case. For example, he unhesitatingly devoted the time to personally attend the deposition of my CPA in order to gain a strategic sense of the approach the opposition would take in pursuing my deposition that was conducted the week following. In retrospect, compared to what I feared would eventually accrue outrageous sums in retainers and hourly fees demanded by many peers (particularly in light of the nature of bankruptcy cases and the limited funds available to hire a competent professional), Mr. Crawford's fees for the top-shelf services and personal attention he provided was an unqualified bargain and well worth the investment. If not limited by the very factors that landed me at his door in the first place and armed with the benefit of hindsight in regard to the time he invested and manner with which he handled my case from start to finish, I would not have been shocked to pay upwards of twice the amount he commanded. Undoubtedly, the impact this process has had on my life has been profound in all respects and with this tumultuous chapter mercifully all but concluded, I'm left exhausted. Yet, all to Mr. Crawford's credit, not without hope for a far, far more financially sensible and contented future. To put it another way, if my saga were book-worthy, I would have undoubtedly invited Mr. Crawford to co-author the work or, in the very least, be recipient of kudos/special tribute in its prologue. In sum, the process tried my every nerve and was one I'd not wish upon my worst enemy, yet it was a journey for which I'm thankful for entrusting Mr. Crawford as my chief confidant/adviser! With the sincerest respect and utmost humility, I remain most grateful for his assistance and would unequivocally recommend William Crawford's services to any one with similar needs.
