The Journey

Growing up in a rural small town in southeastern Indiana, I was eager to get out an experience more.  After graduating from Indiana University-Bloomington, I came to Florida State University, College of Law; where I graduated in 2003.  While attending Florida State University, College of Law, I also studied at Oxford University (St-Edmund Hall) in Oxford, England as part of the Oxford Summer Law Program.  In addition, I traveled to Pepperdine University, School of Law and obtained a Masters of Dispute Resolution.  While at Pepperdine, I gained valuable experience as a selected Research Fellow and conducting mediations in the Los Angeles County Courts.  After completion, I decided that I would settle back in Florida.  After taking and passing the bar exam, I spent my first year as a law clerk for an attorney specializing in business law, agricultural law, real estate law and education law.  Since that time, I have practiced in various areas, but the majority of my work has involved administrative law.  While practicing, helping care for a toddler, and training for my first 26.2-mile marathon; I decided to return to Florida State University to obtain a Masters of Business Administration.  I now focus most of my efforts on business law, administrative law and veterans disability issues.  In addition, I am a member of the faculty of University of Phoenix where I teach Communication Law.  I would be happy to assist with your legal needs.

Personal & Hobbies

I played baseball in college and also participated in college wresting club.  As a child, I was active in nearly every sport, which consumed most of my time.  I now coach baseball and flag football for the City of Tallahassee.  I enjoy fishing, running, participating in triathlons and spending time with the family.
