WILLIAM A. NORTON a shareholder in the firm, has applied his legal expertise to the cause of personal injury and wrongful death victims for more than 20 years, acting as lead counsel in virtually every venue in Florida. In more than 40 cases, he has obtained verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million for his clients. A Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer who is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Norton has been included in Who’s Who in American Law, and was named one of the top lawyers in South Florida by the South Florida Legal Guide and Best Lawyer’s in America. His professional memberships include the Florida Justice Association, the Florida Bar, The American Association for Justice, and the Federal District Court Southern District of Florida Trial Bar. Mr. Norton is also a member of the Federal District Court Middle District, the Palm Beach County Justice Association and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is a frequent lecturer on medical negligence, wrongful death, personal injury, and securities litigation, and has taught as an adjunct lecturer in medical jurisprudence for Stetson Law School. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising from the University of Florida College of Journalism, Mr. Norton earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Norton lives in Tallahassee with his wife and three children.
