Matthew Kevin Foster

When Mr. Foster was 12 years old he was run over by a truck while riding his bicycle on Thomasville Road. The driver of the truck was distracted and ran into the back of Mr. Foster's bicycle causing him to fracture his lower back and sustain significant abrasions over most of his body. This experience left Mr. Foster with a passion for helping accident victims. He is committed to helping victims obtain the medical treatment and financial assistance they need to recover from their injuries and helping them try to piece their lives back together.  

After being nominated for a Rhodes Scholarship, Mr. Foster graduated from law school with High Honors in 1994, Mr. Foster has dedicated a significant portion of his practice to protecting the rights of injured victims against insurance companies and corporations that place profits over safety. For 26 years, he has represented injured victims in the areas of negligent or failed security, premise liability, and serious car or trucking accidents. He has obtained the two largest premise liability monetary settlements with the City of Tallahassee and obtained one of the top 20 largest verdicts in Florida in an automobile injury trial. At the same time, he helped ensure that the City corrected the dangerous conditions that caused serious injuries to its citizens.

Mr. Foster also works with the victims of violent crimes to obtain substantial monetary recoveries against apartment owners who failed to provide adequate security for college students and other residents. His background in both civil and criminal litigation give him a unique perspective in handling serious negligent security claims.
