I had the pleasure of representing a lovely woman who was injured in a car crash. She was the caregiver for her grandchildren and about to retire when she was hit by a young man who was fleeing the pol ... ice in a high-speed chase. My client had clear back and shoulder injuries, but the defendant's insurance company refused to pay her even $10,000 despite the fact her medical bills exceeded that amount. Because the insurance company failed to be reasonable with my client, we ended up having to file a lawsuit, went to trial and got a verdict in the amount of $850,000. Because the insurance company failed to be fair in dealing with my client, they ended up paying over twenty-seven times their policy limits. I take great pride in making sure that insurance companies treat victims fairly and provide them with just compensation for the losses they sustain through no fault of their own.
