One of the most honest, dependable, personable attorneys in Tallahassee

I hired Mr. Ed Horan to represent me in my custody case in January 2011. From the beginning I knew that he was the attorney for me because he was always straight forward in everything that he said. He didn't tell you what you wanted to hear but what you needed to hear. Mr. Horan was also very unde...rstanding and helpful as I was a single mother starting over from the beginning with a 6mos old child at the time. Mr. Horan is very accessible and returns calls and/or messages in a timely manner and always keeps you up to date with everything that is going on within the case. Mr. Horan has a very good assistant that helps in his success as an attorney by being able to keep track of his many ongoing cases at any time. All paperwork was always filed in a timely manner followed by a follow-up email keeping me informed on what was going on. There was never a time that I did not know what was going on with my case. My case was very complicated and just recently closed in August 2015. After 4yrs of mediations, counseling, and having to be in and out of the courtroom, Ed was able to bring home yet another victory in me gaining primary custodial rights of my son. Throughout the years he was always there to answer my endless amounts of questions and to prepare me for any angle that the opposing counsel may use against me in the courtroom. In my case, Ed fought for what was in the best interest of my child, not just for me. Ed is a family man and has many years expertise in family law. I would definitely recommend him to others. If you're in need of a family law attorney in the Leon County, Tallahassee area, Ed Horan is the way to go! He is a very honest, kind-hearted, experienced attorney who will fight for you in your time of need!

Thank You Mr. Horan

I won. Honestly, my son won. Mr. Horan saved my son's life. He really did. If you're smart enough to check avvo and profile lawyers, be smart enough to hire Mr. Horan. I wrote a review earlier in Feb. how I felt he was smart and an awesome attorney before I won. There's a million reasons why he's an ...awesome attorney but I'll try my best to limit them to a few: He will not tell you that your're going to win, because he doesn't know that, no one knows that. He'll be honest with you and tell you your chances from best to worst. He won't overcharge you, you'll be charged for your time and your time only. He'll fight for you as best as he can with all his years of true experience and expertise - which is plenty. I can go on and on, just hire him trust me. And of course do your homework and do all the basics. Of course, its not what's happening, its WHAT YOU CAN PROVE. Just because I won, doesn't mean you will or won't, but I can assure you THAT HE WILL HELP PUT YOU IN THE MOST FAVORABLE POSITION POSSIBLE. Lastly, I can not stress this enough, help him help you. Bring verifiable facts and evidence, if any, relative to your case that he can use to strengthen your argument. Doing that and doing all the other good things you should be doing as a parent anyways will always keep you in the ball game. Long story short, I went from a weekend dad to the majority time sharing parent because of many things, but definitely not without the expertise and trial experience of Mr. Horan. Each case is different. Mr. Horan THANK YOU !! There's hope in the Family Law system, you just have to be patient, no matter what always take the high road, only think about the child's best interests and understand the end result isn't a score, its about getting as close as possible to your desired results. In my case I got all the way to my desired results, but even if I didn't, I knew I was going to be closer than where I stood at the moment and at the end of the day I was ready to live with that. I hope that anyone reading this, hires him because he's the best lawyer in getting you as close as possible to your desired results, win or lose, JUST MAKE SURE YOU'RE DOING YOUR PART AS WELL. Lastly before I exit, as you've spent time reading this review, if you haven't already, read countless hours of topics on how to help yourself in your case and start doing those things. It's not about what's happened, it's about "what you can prove" and "what your doing to help your child/children". You've got rights, so you'll always be in the game. Take care - again - THANK YOU MR. HORAN !!

Excellence

I'm currently using Mr. Horan, my case is not finished yet but I can tell anyone reading this that this guy is brilliant. Seriously. I'm a dad fighting for my son and for the first time ever, I've felt confident with my situation, not just because I got an attorney, but because I've got Mr. Horan. Se...riously, go with him if you can and if he'd take your case. Do your part as well, there's a lot you can and should be doing to help him help you. If you're doing that, with his expertise, you'll be in the most favorable position you can be in. Thank You Mr. Horan, you and Kelli are an awesome team !! Thanks !!

Best Family Law Attorney in Florida! I'm a Father and won Custody with Attorney Horan's skilled Courtroom representation.

Attorney Ed Horan has represented me in Paternity, Child Support and Custody Case with and for my daughter. Finally, after collecting "evidence" and having two Witnesses on the stand, Mr. Horan precisely questioned them, along with the Mother and Grandmother of my daughter, successfully winning Cust...ody for me (a Father). I'm very grateful to Mr. Horan for his persistence, excellent execution of probing questions of all witness (including myself) and the dedication to our case for our 2 1/2 year old daughter. All I can say is if you are in "need" of Family Law Representation, Mr. Horan is "a Highly Competent Professional Attorney" whom I consider the "Best Family Law Attorney in the State of Florida", and I highly recommend him. We "Won" every point and then some. "I thank you Mr. Horan", my 2 1/2 year old Daughter "Thanks You" and GOD Thanks You!
