Matthew Caleb Bothwell

The law firm of Matthew C. Bothwell, P.A. was founded by Matthew C. Bothwell, a native of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, who returned to Duval County to use his legal knowledge and experience to help individuals and corporations resolve practically any legal matter or dispute including bankrutpcy, divorce, custody, child support, collections and corporate counseling.  Over the course of his career, Mr. Bothwell has successfully litigated hundreds of cases ranging from multimillion dollar construction suits, chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy, divorce, personal injury matters, workers compensation claims, and a wide variety of family law issues. He has also defended clients against foreclosures, protected the rights of workers who were subject to employment discrimination and represented corporations in a wide range of business disputes and negotiations.  Mr. Bothwell has also used his knowledge of the corporate world to help business owners navigate the complex laws and regulations involved in starting and running a successful company. 

Mr. Bothwell received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stetson University in 1999 and a Masters of Business Administration from Stetson University in 2002.  He graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2002 and  he has been certified to practice law in the State of Florida since 2002.  Mr. Bothwell is also licensed to practice in the Northern, Middle and Southern Federal District Courts of Florida.
