If you are assigned Stacey Myers, do not just run—escape. Have you ever heard of confirmation bias? That is essentially what my experience with Stacey Myers was. She appeared to form a view of my case before she had actually investigated it, then interpreted the evidence through that lens. In o...ur very first interview—after she had already interviewed the other parent twice—she told me she would not deviate from the 50/50 presumption, despite the court order directing her to assess the appropriate timesharing arrangement. She also told me that my ex reminded her of women she had coached who had been repressed in their marriages and that he was simply exerting his independence now. In context, that appeared to provide a favorable explanation for his controlling behavior before she had begun her investigation. She never interviewed my child's treating therapist despite having a signed release—and despite telling me she would do so—and failed to meaningfully address CPS involvement in our case. Her opinions carried substantial weight in our case. The resulting parenting arrangement has had profound consequences for our children, and I believe they will need years of therapy to learn how to navigate the reality created by this process. This was not simply an investigator reaching conclusions I disagreed with. It was an investigation in which, in my experience, the evidence was filtered through a preconceived narrative rather than used to genuinely test competing explanations. If you want a fair, balanced, genuinely independent custody investigation, **do not use Stacey Myers.**

From the very first interview, Stacey Myers had her mind made up — she was clearly biased towards the abusive parent, even labeling them the victim throughout the investigation. She repeatedly asked for more money for additional time, misquoted me, ignored all of my evidence in deference to the other... parent’s unsubstantiated statements, confused me with other families, and even mixed up my children’s statements. This level of sloppiness is not only unprofessional, it is dangerous. The result was devastating for my children and our family. If you are assigned to her, know that you will not receive a fair or impartial process.

Stacey is FANTASTIC! She helped us quickly and efficiently. She is a wonderful resource and I recommend her as a Parenting Coordinator. She is very knowledgeable, reasonable, down to earth and empathetic. I have not experienced anything that the bad reviews outline here. I have nothing but great th...ings to say about Stacey and I give her my highest recommendation!
