Nicole grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, attending Douglas Anderson School of the Arts High School. Nicole has always had a passion for helping others, choosing to pursue a Bachelors’ in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. Upon graduation, Nicole was immediately nominated for a position with Children’s Home Society as a director of their Jacksonville MODEL Mentoring Program; however, Nicole wished to continue her education in law, hoping to gain the knowledge and proficiency necessary to affect even greater change.
Nicole graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in the top 15% of her class, obtaining certification in Research and Writing, and Family Law. While attending Florida Coastal, Nicole was the lead research assistant and spot editor for the Public Interest Research Bureau, providing free legal research to pro-bono attorneys. Nicole was also elected to serve as student President of the National Lawyers Guild, an organization dedicated safeguarding and extending the rights disadvantaged persons, and as Chair of the Multicultural Committee of the Student Bar Association.
Throughout her legal education Nicole interned at Harrell & Harrell, helping to provide legal research and memorandums to support firm cases. Upon graduation, Nicole was immediately hired on full-time, beginning in the Social Security and Workers’ Compensation divisions, and currently specializing in Personal Injury cases arising from motor vehicle accidents and premises liability. Nicole is certified with the Florida Bar, and is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division. When she is not working on her own caseload, Nicole appreciates chances to provide pro-bono legal services to other individuals in need.
When Nicole is not practicing law, she enjoys taking ballet and contemporary dance classes, camping at Florida springs, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Michael, their adopted Beagle, Daisy, and their friends and family.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
