I hired Summer and paid her 6k in which all she did was file an emergency order and a motion to modify current custody. She got me at a most vulnerable time and I put my trust into her after a friend recommended her. After emergency was declined the judge stated get a hearing immediately to removed... all parental rights. So we agreed by email to move forward with hearing 4/14/25. I called her 4/24 because I had not heard anything despite texting her that prior weekend. She asked me what I would like to do for her after she told me do not call her or text her unless it’s an emergency. I was taken aback but asked how does she want me to communicate she said email only. It was then she said we have to wait for a hearing date. I said how long will that take she said could be months or a year. Her knowing this whole time she NEVER REQUESTED A HEARING! She then said you need to focus on getting a counselor in the meantime. I felt scolded and left feeling uneasy. I did obtain counseling and EMAILED her telling her this and advising that my son has been going back to see his father and I’m eworried and advise me please. NO RESPONSE! Finally I called the clerk of court to ask about my case directly since she is so unresponsive. The clerk said ma’am I am sorry but no hearing has been requested and your ex had t been serve either. I was floored!!!! She did NOTHING and I mean nothing!!! Summer has zero integrity! After getting off the phone with the clerk who told me to think about filing a complaint. I confronted her with her negligent behavior and lack of communication. She knew I was waiting on that hearing and just how important that was. I instructed her 4/14/25 to get that hearing(proof that I have). She neglected to do so and outright lied when I asked how long it would take having full well she never requested it. She said I thought we agreed to get a therapist first. In which I responded no we did not!!! I told her to file it on 4/14! She then said I served the ex! No she didn’t (blatant lie). I then was like wow! She took my money and didn’t do a thing and when confronted tries to say she did something. That has a paper trail and a time stamp and I the client would have gotten a court copy emailed as soon as she did it! She lies and takes your money. Well I then made a demand letter firing her and demanding my money back. She refused so now I will file a complaint with the bar and go to small claims court. She said she worked in my case 18 hours! Yeah doing what, you can’t just pull time spent out of the air! Unethical and negligent
