There was a lady in our apartment complex who was being beat by her husband outside. My wife called for me and I responded by going outside and physically restraining him until the police arrived. I was subsequently arrested for hitting the husband with a baseball bat several times. Since I used a ba...t I was charged with felony (F3) Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon. I was given an outrageous bond, due to a previous record when I was younger, with very little hope at all of getting out of the charges.
