I’m a Florida elder law attorney who helps seniors and their families protect what matters most, their home, their savings, and their peace of mind, when long-term care enters the picture.
My work centers on practical Medicaid planning, asset protection, and incapacity planning. I guide families through the complicated intersection of health challenges and legal decisions so they can focus on caring for each other instead of scrambling through paperwork during a crisis.
This work is personal for me. I was the primary caregiver for my spouse during his battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which included a stem cell transplant and a long recovery. Living through that experience showed me just how overwhelming the legal and financial decisions can become when you’re already carrying the emotional and physical weight of caregiving. I founded Estate Plan First, PLLC so that families wouldn’t have to face those moments alone or unprepared.
Before becoming an attorney, I was a Registered Nurse and later a healthcare business leader. That dual perspective allows me to bridge the medical and legal sides of long-term care planning in a way that feels practical and grounded rather than theoretical.
I offer fully virtual consultations from my Jacksonville office and am available in The Villages by appointment. Whether you’re a senior thinking ahead, an adult child supporting aging parents, or a fellow attorney looking to collaborate, I’m always happy to connect.

"I met Jessica through a voluntary Jacksonville Bar Association during the time I practiced in Jacksonville. I have had the opportunity to discuss family law issues with her and find her to be very thorough and knowledgeable. I endorse Jessica without reservation and I am sure any client of hers is in good hands."
