He acts as though it's a bother to explain the process and what his intentions are on my behalf. He did not prepare me for the hearing. I did not know what questions to expect. He tells me to call him if I have any questions, but he doesn't take or return my calls in a timely matter. I now have a wat...ch dog watching over what he is doing in my case. I have been told to seriously consider suing him for malpractice. I am watching very closely because I just may have to file a complete with the bar as well. Like other reviews, Tom, takes your money and you very little work for him. He tells you what you want to hear in his free consult; it ends up costing you in the end because he lied from the start. Spend the extra money for another attorney it will be worth it in the long run. This guy is the biggest Family Law joke in Florida!

I hired Liberty Law to handle my divorce. Despite some of these postings, I had a wonderful experience. Tom listened to the issues in my case and presented solutions. And I found that when I followed his advice, things worked out as he predicted. I couldn't be happier with Liberty Law, Tom, or ...the outcome of my case.

I hired tom about 6 months ago and have only gotten one thing accomplished in my case I have paid him off and now he seems to have thrown me on the back burner. I have called several times to try and get some answers and no one will return my calls I even tried emails nothing for over a week. I don't... think he representing me in the way he should be and I am thinking about reporting him and going to a different lawyer to help me. I don't recommend him at all.

I experienced colossal waves of challenges as Mr. Gurrola basically wanted me to research my options and inform him how I wanted to proceed. It was at that time, I realized that he did not have my best interest in mind. He was compassionate, nor caring in regards to the situation at hand. I eventua...lly FIRED him and sought out a new attorney who was much more capable and experienced in getting the job done! Please look elsewhere if you are seeking a competent, experienced attorney because Mr. Gurrola does not cut it.

This attorney swore at me on the phone and threatened to drop my case a whole week after I paid the full retainer of $3000 (it only took me 3 weeks and was before any work was done). Then he handed me off to his associate that had never handled a case on his own. After a whole year of nothing ever ge...tting done and me having to call for every update multiple times they dropped me in the same place I was before just $3000 in the hole. I would NEVER recommend this lawyer or office to anyone!
