Hired Tom in 2019 very bad mistake. Me not knowing much about divorce law. I was rushed in his words fee's are adding. I signed the final Judgment not knowing I was paying alimony until retirement. On top of that ex wife remarried last year and I'm stuck paying 1500 per month to her and her new husb...and I'm the laughing talk around Jacksonville. Ex wife had a free attorney to take her case. I lost all the way around dealing with Thomas. who was paid. Not saying he's a bad Attorney, but he walked all over me. I had three mediations of 900 dollars I had to pay for every single one at his advice. Now stuck paying 1500 per month until I retire to my ex and her new husband. Thanks Thomas you really screwed my entire life up.

Hired and paid up front for un-contested Paternal Guardianship. Incorrect packets, repeated mistakes on documents, information sent about someone elses child in a different state, failure to educate himself in Paternal guardianship, convinced us process would move expedentially, absence of comunica...tion, ostersized if we had a question, and put us on a path to no where! Requested a phone call and he was out of control with anger and hung up. He took our money and delivered NOTHING! Hired a legit attorney and completed the process under 2 months. People like us trust and pay for representation to handle sensitive matters. The only thing that went quick, was Thomas Gurrola taking our money! All of the statement above are facts! There is proof in the pudding, and we have a ton of pudding!

He acts as though it's a bother to explain the process and what his intentions are on my behalf. He did not prepare me for the hearing. I did not know what questions to expect. He tells me to call him if I have any questions, but he doesn't take or return my calls in a timely matter. I now have a wat...ch dog watching over what he is doing in my case. I have been told to seriously consider suing him for malpractice. I am watching very closely because I just may have to file a complete with the bar as well. Like other reviews, Tom, takes your money and you very little work for him. He tells you what you want to hear in his free consult; it ends up costing you in the end because he lied from the start. Spend the extra money for another attorney it will be worth it in the long run. This guy is the biggest Family Law joke in Florida!

I hired tom about 6 months ago and have only gotten one thing accomplished in my case I have paid him off and now he seems to have thrown me on the back burner. I have called several times to try and get some answers and no one will return my calls I even tried emails nothing for over a week. I don't... think he representing me in the way he should be and I am thinking about reporting him and going to a different lawyer to help me. I don't recommend him at all.
