We had an extremely complicated child custody case with another attorney at the firm. I was coming from another state, and my ex, the mother of my child was in prison. We had to start from scratch as my name wasn’t on the birth certificate and there had been no DNA testing. My ex was extremely uncoop...erative and after two failed mediation’s, our case went to trial. At this point in time, our attorney quit the firm on us, with no warning. Tom reviewed our case and picked it up before trial- and he was very quick to learn the specifics and complications of our case. Tom and Jill answered all our questions and explained things in detail. Very good communication and a high level of professionalism. As trial preparation came near, Tom and I had several meetings and was very honest about potential outcomes. Tom did a great job of preparing me for trial and cross examination also. On the day of trial, Tom fought hard. Both for me and during cross examination to reveal the truth in all the situations that arose. Tom won my case, and he did exactly what we hired him to do. He was supportive and optimistic during breaks and kept the air light as to not panic me and I even saw him shake the opposing councils hand after trail and commend them for a job well done in court. Something I definitely did not expect. Thanks to Tom and the supporting staff, my family is complete. If I ever am in need of further legal help, this is where I will go. I definitely recommend Tom as a fighter and professional, respectful, honest, and hard working attorney.

He acts as though it's a bother to explain the process and what his intentions are on my behalf. He did not prepare me for the hearing. I did not know what questions to expect. He tells me to call him if I have any questions, but he doesn't take or return my calls in a timely matter. I now have a wat...ch dog watching over what he is doing in my case. I have been told to seriously consider suing him for malpractice. I am watching very closely because I just may have to file a complete with the bar as well. Like other reviews, Tom, takes your money and you very little work for him. He tells you what you want to hear in his free consult; it ends up costing you in the end because he lied from the start. Spend the extra money for another attorney it will be worth it in the long run. This guy is the biggest Family Law joke in Florida!

I hired tom about 6 months ago and have only gotten one thing accomplished in my case I have paid him off and now he seems to have thrown me on the back burner. I have called several times to try and get some answers and no one will return my calls I even tried emails nothing for over a week. I don't... think he representing me in the way he should be and I am thinking about reporting him and going to a different lawyer to help me. I don't recommend him at all.

This guy is a joke....did the consultation and he sounded like he had my back, was gonna help me get joint custody blah blah blah...paid the retainer, 3000 bucks, then convinced me to go for a dna, then forgets everything he said, basically misrepresented me, made me look bad, and at one point called... me a liar! Im thinkin of suing this guy for misrepresentation and deformation of character cause this is ridiculous.
