Biography
Attorney Marsico has been practicing law in the State of Florida for nearly twenty years. After serving in the United States Air Force, she graduated with high honors from The University of Tampa with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1998. She attended Stetson College of Law and graduated with honors in 2002 earning her Juris Doctorate. After 15 years of practice, Attorney Marsico returned to Stetson Law to further master her trial skills and graduated with honors in 2018, receiving her Masters of Law in Advocacy – the highest level of education a lawyer can receive.
Attorney Marsico has dedicated her legal career to helping individual clients at the trial and appellate levels. She began her legal career practicing in the areas of divorce and complex commercial litigation for Stein Law Group in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She launched her own private practice, Marsico Law, in Tampa, Florida for many years where she practiced civil litigation and maintained her commitment to families in need, whether faced with a custody battle or the need to appeal an unfair ruling. Attorney Marsico also served as Appellate Counsel for the Office of the Public Defender for the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida where she handled felony appeals and post-conviction relief. Since, she has served the clients of Marsico Law throughout North Florida and Florida's First Coast.
Attorney Marsico practices exclusively in the area of Marital and Family Law. She appreciates the personal and often emotionally-trying nature of these types of disputes. She handles all types of family law appeals, from Interlocutory Appeals in the middle of a case to remedy a Temporary Order, Direct Appeals following the trial court's Final Judgment, Writs of Prohibition, Writs of Mandamus, to Discretionary Appeals before the Florida Supreme Court.
