Mr. McQuaig was hired by my husband's family to oversee my late mother-in-law's estate, as she had been a client of his before her passing. This was a simple estate and it took him almost three years to complete. In addition, he charged the family 5 times what he told us his initial fee would be. ...Attempting to communicate with him was a nightmare...he rarely returned phone calls or e-mails in a timely manner. Things were delayed FAR more than they should have been, and the entire ordeal was very frustrating and caused our family an incredible amount of emotional distress. Sadly, it is attorney's like Mr. McQuaig that give the entire profession a bad name. If you value your time, your money, and your sanity, do NOT hire this man.
