Nancy is a down to earth person that knows her work. She guided me through each and every step of the way. I thought that I would never pass through a bankruptcy, I thought I had control. But when my wife lost her job, the bills kept piling up, not enough income to cover all expenses, started payi...ng bills w/credit cards (something I would never do again) and I thought I was going to go out of my mind. Before I hired Nancy to represent me, I performed about a year's worth of footwork to investigate how to file for bankruptcy without affecting my family negatively. Then, I went on the hunt for a competent BK attorney. I was a real estate investor with more than a few properties. I also had a pa...rticularly sticky situation involving Bare Legal Title. Why am I saying all of this? Because my "test question" to the attorneys involved my Bare Legal Title issue and how would they resolve it. I don't expect attorneys to know everything, but if you have a bankruptcy law firm I expect you to be a subject matter expert (or at least be honest enough to say "I'm not sure, let me investigate that". I was surprised at how many (10+ in the jacksonville/orange park area) didn't understand that part of the bankruptcy law and didn't even try to investigate my question further. Some gave me a pre-packaged answer with a healthy dose of "I know what I'm doing". Suffice it to say, I did not hire them. Nancy, however, pointed to the section of the bankruptcy code that applied to me specifically. I hired her and sailed through the bankruptcy process without a hitch. Kudos to Nancy for helping me to get free and protect my family!
