Truly Lacks Drive, Support, Asleep at the Wheel!!!!!!!!

I am still dealing with awful fall out from a horrendous mediation where taxes were not requested and I, a first year teacher, have been given a $6,500 income to calculate child support and apportion expenses; All stuff that Child Support does fairly, gave up over $10K in arrears am depicted as a lia...r. I honestly don't know if she is neglectful or in collusion with opposing counsel. This is not the half of it.

I am sorry you continue to be unhappy with your situation, Addie. Florida Rules prohibit me from discussing privileged and confidential matters, so I cannot respond to your allegations with specific details. I hope you are able to find peace at some point.

Hard-working, knowledgeable and honest

Being a parent herself, Wendy has been very empathetic, understanding, and vigilant in my custody case. She knows the details backward and forward and often comes to me with the same thought or idea I intended to present to her. She is extremely well-versed in family law and has been nothing but over...ly prepared each and every time we have gone in front of the judge. Wendy is an honest, hard-working, respectable, and down-to-earth attorney who I would absolutely recommend to anyone going through a divorce. In regards to the comment below, I am concerned that someone would fraudulently use my name to make false statements about Ms. Norman and myself.

Truly the most deplorable divorce attorney!

In 2012ish I hired Wendy as my divorce attorney she lacked everything from drive, motivation, legal wizardry, professionalism and genuine concern. All she did was paper shuffle and feed off of my family's misery. I attempted to file a grievance against her with the state but was given the run around.... She never answered calls, questions or provided feedback on some major important issues to include contempt(s) when I questioned and requested she do her job for which I was being charged $250 and hour she withdrew as my attorney but before doing so she signed for opposing counsel to do a deposition on me without having legal counsel or representation. Her poor legal representation led to me a retired navy chief having to go Pro Se' with better results than having her at my attorney. She may have a license and may be on this site however she is by far the worse attorney one could ever have! I prevailed overall in my case by going solo and hiring an attorney just before trial. Years later I saw her at a play Beauty and the Beast, she had seats with her family right next to me. After realizing who I was have a quarter way through the play her and her family left for what I believe was her piss poor conscience, poor ethics and mistrust of my confidence! I guess she was the Beast! May God show her the same misery she attempted to pour out on me in my most weakest most vulnerable moments in my life!

After a complete search of all past and present files, I can affirmatively say that I have never represented anyone named Derek. If this person would like to provide his real name, I would be happy to respond to his complaints. At this point, all I can say is that this review is completely false.

LITTLE EXPERIENCE MEANS LONG DELAY MEANS LOT OF MONEY

Wendy Norman has been my attorney for 2 years before she decided to withdraw a couple of days before my hearing. I believe that after 2 years of tremendous fees paid to her, she just decided that she will not be able to handle the case. So she withdrew. During those 2 years I have trust her, her fees... piled up when my case was a simple one. As soon as she withdrew, I had to take another lawyer who handled the case in less than 3 months. Wendy Norman has a great experience to look like professional : she will carefully prepare her red, green and black pens next to her notebook but unfortunatly, those pre-schoolers skills are far away from solving a case. She is not appreciated by 2 of the judges here in Duval county and her peers sees her as a un-experienced attorney. So watch carefully who will be the judge for your case. I have always paid her on a timely manner for no results. Her enormous fees just do not match her little experience. Just run away from this attorney because the only thing she will do is to take your money.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I was opposing counsel against Wendy Norman on a recent case. Even so, I am a big fan of Wendy Norman and her work. In the more than 13 years I've been practicing law, I've rarely found the combination of ethics, intelligence, and dedication that Wendy brings to her cases. She has a fantastic sense of practical solutions and strives to achieve a fair result for her clients even if it means an early settlement that will end up in lower attorneys' fees for herself. Yet she still has the wherewithal to fight through trial if it's the right option for her client. I'd recommend her to a family member or friend without hesitation. For ethics, practicality, or effectiveness, there are few family law attorneys in Jacksonville better than Wendy."
